Winter is well and truly here, with some spectacular frosts being witnessed at the office, and with the colder days we’ve seen our coffee consumption go up! Nick’s even let his hair grow out to a number 1 to assist with frostbite prevention (there’s parts where it’s still a 0 though) !
Nick has begun his Advice Masters course, which is run by Fidelity Life, which is personal development aimed specifically at experienced advisers/business owners who are wanting to take the way they run their business to the next level. This course is facilitated by some fantastic top performing directors d industry leaders, with incredible content and minds in the room, with the learning spread over 5 months and in-person day’s being held in Auckland and Christchurch.
Nick’s feeling very privileged to have been selected for the course, which is aimed at improving the person, business and processes, rather than improving product knowledge. It’s always great to learn how other business’ are running and be able to ask why, with the depth of conversation being extremely valuable.
We have also begun supporting another local Charitable Trust, Te Manawa o Cambridge. We had the opportunity to have a catchup with the founders and were blown away by the community work and support that they were providing.
