Paul Carrick – Financial Adviser

Paul, an advisor and business owner since 1988, is a director of Carricks. He loves to simplify financial matters for clients, covering life and life insurance, investments, KiwiSaver, and retirement and financial planning.

Throughout his journey, he has gained a graduate diploma in business studies and is a chartered life underwriting professional and a certified financial planner practitioner. Paul also enjoys the broader arena of business development and directorship. Paul loves to see both people and plans come to fruition by encouraging us to plant seeds today for tomorrow's rewards.

Outside of business, Paul enjoys pottering in his big barn, riding his bike, and spending time with his growing family.

Nick Carrick - Financial Adviser

Nick joined Carricks as a financial advisor after previously working in an array of farming and landscaping sectors. Since 2022, Nick is a co-director of Carricks. He specialises in KiwiSaver, investments, life and living insurance, and health insurance. This means the ability to offer a 'start to finish' service. Nick loves working with clients looking for financial success and helping them find versatile solutions for their money and insurance needs.

Away from work, he enjoys being active in the outdoors, using his leg press, spending time with his young family, smoking meat on one of his many bbq’s and watching the Warriors (it’s our year!).

Sally Carrick - Financial Adviser

Sally began her career in the financial services industry over 15 years ago, coming from a nursing and pharmaceutical sales background. Sally specialises in domestic, business, farm, health and other specialist professional and marine insurances. Having spent time as a nurse has also been a huge help with being able to assist clients with their health insurance needs. Sally enjoys building relationships with our clients, with a client-first approach and a focus on simplifying the complexities of insurance. Sally enjoys the diversity of people she meet’s on a daily basis while ensuring that their needs are being met.

Outside of work time you will find Sally on her bike and enjoying the outdoors, cooking up a storm for her family and friends, or taming the large garden at home.

Caitlin Fraser-Jones – Financial Adviser

Caitlin joined the Carricks team in 2020 as advisor support for Paul, Sally, and Nick before transitioning into her current role as a General Insurance Adviser. She specialises in domestic and commercial insurance, claims handling, and travel insurance.

Caitlin enjoys working closely with clients, focusing on providing clear, tailored insurance solutions. She values the opportunity to connect with a diverse range of people, ensuring that each client’s unique needs are met with care and attention to detail.

Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, visiting the beach, and enjoying outdoor activities.

Tamsin Martyn – Client Support

Tamsin's background has been in the insurance industry for almost 30 years. Mainly working with domestic, farm, and business insurances, she is a very valuable member of the team and brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to assist clients with their insurance needs.

She loves to be a part of the Carricks team and enjoys getting to know all our fabulous clients. Working part-time from her home office in Matangi, when she's not working, her passion is riding and caring for her ponies.

This has led to being part of the Cambridge “Sparkly Strides” carousel display team, which is an incredibly fun group of people, who enjoy a glass of bubbles.

Kate Terry – Office and Advisor Coordinator

Kate has been an integral part of the Carricks team since January 2023, providing essential support to both the office and advisers. Working closely with Paul and Nick, she plays a key role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes in our office, ensuring that day-to-day operations are handled with care, precision, and a proactive mindset.

She thrives in our dynamic environment, bringing energy, laughter, and a strong sense of connection to the team. Kate is passionate about helping others and is always eager to grow and expand her knowledge. Going the extra mile comes naturally to her, and she approaches every task with dedication and heart.

A standout moment in her time with Carricks was being named Business Support Person of the Year at the 2024 Wealthpoint Conference in Blenheim an incredible achievement and well-deserved recognition of her hard work and commitment.

Kate lives in Cambridge with her husband, their two daughters, and their dog, Alfie. Outside of work, you’ll find Kate spending quality time with her young family and her friends enjoying social events and practicing her new hobby, golf.

Sav Cameron – Advisor Support

Sav is Advisor Support for Sally and Caitlin at Carricks. She joined the team in October 2024 and enjoys tackling new challenges.

With a passion for organization and a genuine interest in people, Sav’s previous experience in Human Resources adds to her ability to connect with others and support the team effectively.

Outside of work, Sav is a dedicated wife and Mum to an energetic one-year-old, keeping her on her toes and sharpening her multi-tasking skills daily.
